The Weber Q range is known for its reliability, performance, and versatility. Their relatively compact size makes them ideal for those with limited space as they can easily be stowed out of the way when not in use. There are several variations within the Q range, this post will help you determine the right model for your needs.
Q 1400
Weber's Q 1400 grill runs on electricity, which means you don't need to worry about topping up on gas or charcoal. Simply plug it in and away you go. The Weber Q 1400 features a sturdy lid and body made from cast aluminium. This ensures efficient heat retention, durability, and resistance to rust and corrosion. The Q1400 can be purchased on its own or with a stand, additional accessories for the Q 1400 include a roasting shield and roast rack, and a cover. While not as large as some gas or charcoal grills, the Q 1400 is sufficient for small gatherings and everyday grilling needs.
Q 1200
The Q 1200 barbecue is is equipped with a durable stainless steel gas burner that provides consistent heat distribution and performance. The cooking grates are made of cast iron with a porcelain enamel coating. These grates help retain heat and create beautiful sear marks on your grilled food while being easy to clean. The Q 1200 has folding side tables, which can be folded in when the barbecue is not in use, and a built-in lid thermometer. It can be purchased on its own or with a stand and accessories such as a cast iron griddle and rotisserie can be purchased to increase the versatility of the grill. The Q 1200 runs off of Weber's portable disposable gas bottles, but can be converted to use with a patio gas cylinder.
Q 2000
Like the Q 1200, the Q 2000 is a gas barbecue, however, it comes with the hose and regulator suitable for use with a patio gas bottle. Its cooking area is slightly larger than that of the Q 1400 or Q 1200 but it features the same porcelain enamelled cast iron cooking grates. It has folding side tables and a piezo ignition. Its cast aluminium lid and bowl are durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. Additional accessories include a cover and cast iron griddle.
Q 2200
The Q 2200 has the same cooking area as the Q 2000, however, its slightly deeper lid and built-in lid thermometer make cooking methods such as roasting much easier to achieve. Weber's roast shield and roast rack perfectly equip the Q 2200 for a spatchcock chicken or beef joint. Unlike the 2000, the Q 2200 features an electronic ignition system, allowing you to start the grill with the push of a button. Expand the abilities of your Q 2200 with a rotisserie or warming rack.
Q 3200
Weber's Q 3200 is the largest grill in the Q family. It runs off of patio gas with two stainless steel burners for precise heat control. The Q 3200 features porcelain enamelled cast iron grates, a built-in lid thermometer, folding side tables that can be stowed when not in use, and automatic handle light, and comes with a warming rack included. It comes with a fixed cart with built-in tool hooks and wheels to allow the barbecue to be easily manoeuvred. Additional accessories include a cover, griddle, and rotisserie.
All Weber Q models come with a 5-year warranty.
