The New Weber Spirit II Barbecue 2018.

Brought out in 2018 the Weber Spirit II barbecue range is the newest addition to the Weber family, and has all the familiarity of the Weber brand with some new additions. Available in a 2 or 3 burner model, it is powered by the GS4 grilling system and features Webers Gourmet Barbecue System Grate.

The Spirit II range features the GS4 grilling system previously only found in the Genesis II models.
The GS4 grilling system brings with it, improved burners, ignition, flavorizer bars and grease management system.

The Stainless steel burners on the spirit II have been redesigned for maximum performance, giving you the optimum grilling experience time after time.

The new and improved Infinity Ignition provides the best and most consistent ignition in any of the Weber barbecues. With improved durability and a great warranty, you can be safe in the knowledge that you will be grilling for years and years to come.

The Flavorizer bars are an ingenious thing, but nothing new to those who know the Weber brand. Positioned over the stainless steel burners they not only help prevent flare-ups, but they also ensure that the food you cook on your gas barbecue comes out tasting just as delicious as if you had cooked over charcoal. What makes the Flavorizer bars in the Spirit II special is that they allow you to still monitor your burners through small cutouts on the side of the bars, making sure they are just the way you want them.

The final part of the GS4 grilling system is the new and improved grease management system. Now centrally located it helps funnel away any grease not caught and vaporised on the flavorizer bars, gathering it all in an easy to remove, disposable drip tray, making cleaning faster and easier.

iGrill 3 ready.

The Spirit II range of barbecues is iGrill 3 ready. Available to purchase separately the iGrill 3 takes the guesswork out barbecuing. Just attach it to your barbecue, connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth, put the probe in your meat and away you cook. On the simple-to-use app you can select which meat, and cut you are cooking and the app will allocate the perfect temperature and alert you via your phone when the meat is ready. Barbecuing has never been simpler.

Integrated - Gourmet Barbecue System.

The Gourmet Barbecue System or GBS for short is integrated into cooking grate of the Spirit II barbecues. The circular insert which you can find in the middle of the cooking grate is removable and can be replaced by a variety of different accessories. From a griddle to a dutch oven, a wok to a waffle iron and a poultry roaster to a pizza stone, the GBS system helps expand your cooking and take it to new places you never thought were possible on a barbecue. The Spirit II also boasts many of the well-known and loved Weber features like the scratch-resistant porcelain-enamelled lid, with lid thermometer to help you cook with precision. The porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grate with the Gourmet Barbecue System insert, allowing you to cook in more ways than you could dream off. The warming rack at the back for toasting tasty burger buns or keeping those sausages warm for that inevitable second round a bit later on.
